Arduino Hello World Keypad 101 (User Error)

I video-hung out with my friend John and we tried to set up our Arduinos to connect to a keypad. I wanted to make a T9 interface, and we got the keypad to work, thanks to some detective work and an Amazon review. But we kept seeing the LED go off when we pressed the buttons. We couldn't figure out why, and we couldn't find any documentation on the keypad. So we decided to make a video about it. We also talked about the Arduino IDE, and how it's a bit of a mess.
